Our balanced vocational evaluations and employability assessments help to determine what if any employment options might be suitable for an individual following injury or onset of a condition. These assessments can assist in determining what level of income loss an individual may have suffered as a result of an injury or a condition, to guide return to work planning, or to determine eligibility for income replacement benefits or vocational services.

Occupational therapy assessments can help to determine reasonable recommendations for an individual related to self-care needs, housekeeping, home maintenance, leisure, and community engagement. Occupational therapy assessments may include assessment of attendant care needs, as well as the need for assistive devices or home modifications. Specialized home or community assessments examining a persons functioning in different environments and under various conditions in the context in which they are performed. A Situational Assessment involves assessing a person in a number of real-life settings to determine the their ability to perform useful function and to adapt to stressful situations. These assessments can be useful components in catastrophic determinations.
We understand that in preparing medical legal opinions we have an ultimate duty to the court to provide fair, objective, and non-partisan evidence. Josh has significant experience in providing expert testimony in legal proceedings including testimony at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT). He has been qualified on numerous occasions as an expert witness in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Licence Appeal Tribunal in the areas of occupational therapy, vocational assessment & rehabilitation, employability, and life care planning.
